Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Zakro at zakro.io or app.zakro.io, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms form a legally binding agreement between you (or the company you represent) and Orosfort Private Limited, Chennai, India ("Zakro", "we", "us").

If you are using Zakro on behalf of a company or organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these terms.

If you do not agree to these terms, do not use Zakro.

Zakro is a cloud-based manufacturing operations platform. It provides tools for quotations, sales orders, work orders, inventory management, dispatch tracking, GST invoicing, receivables, payables, quality management, maintenance tracking, and related factory operations.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We will give reasonable notice for material changes that affect your use of the platform.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Do not share your password with others. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use Zakro.

We may suspend or terminate your account if we detect misuse, fraudulent activity, or a violation of these terms.

You agree not to:

• Use Zakro for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service or its infrastructure
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of Zakro
• Use the service to store or transmit malware, viruses, or malicious code
• Resell or sublicense Zakro to third parties without our written permission
• Use automated scripts to access the service in a way that places excessive load on our servers
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation

You retain full ownership of all data you enter into Zakro — client records, products, work orders, invoices, inventory, and all other business data ("Your Data").

By using Zakro, you grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display Your Data solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.

We do not sell Your Data to third parties. We do not use Your Data to train AI models. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle your data.

You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of Your Data. We are not responsible for any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in data you enter.

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are exclusive of any applicable taxes.

Payments are processed by our third-party payment gateway. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your selected payment method at the start of each billing period.

Free trial: New accounts receive a free trial period as stated on the pricing page. No payment is required during the trial. If you do not upgrade before the trial ends, your access will be limited to the free plan or suspended, depending on the plan you trialled.

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.

Price changes:We will give at least 30 days' notice before changing subscription prices. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the new price.

We offer a full refund within 7 days of your first paid subscription if you are not satisfied. To request a refund, email billing@zakro.io within 7 days of your first charge.

Refunds are not available for renewals, annual plan mid-term cancellations, or accounts that have violated these terms.

Zakro generates GST-compliant invoices based on the GSTIN, HSN codes, and transaction details you provide. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter. Zakro is a tool — it is not a substitute for professional tax advice.

We strongly recommend that you work with a qualified accountant or CA for GST filing and compliance. Zakro does not file returns on your behalf.

Zakro, its design, code, brand, and all content we create are owned by Orosfort Private Limited. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of our intellectual property to you.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Zakro for your internal business operations during the term of your subscription.

We aim to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance, infrastructure failures, or events outside our control may cause downtime.

Enterprise plans include an SLA. For other plans, we will make reasonable efforts to restore service promptly and communicate incidents transparently.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Orosfort Private Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Zakro.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms or the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Zakro is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Orosfort Private Limited, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of Zakro, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

Either party may terminate the agreement at any time. You may close your account from within the app. We may terminate your account immediately if you violate these terms.

On termination, your right to use Zakro ceases immediately. You may export your data before termination. After 90 days, your data will be permanently deleted from our systems.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of Zakro shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify you by email and update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of Zakro after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules made thereunder, the name and contact details of the Grievance Officer are provided below.

If you have any complaints or grievances related to your account, a transaction, data handling, or any aspect of our service, please contact our Grievance Officer:

We will acknowledge grievances within 2 business days and resolve them within 5 business days of receipt.
